Open Quote Exceptional school with both STEAM and French language immersion. I have a child in 1st grade and a child in 2nd grade and both are thriving there. Close Quote

Open Quote My child has attended NE since it opened and has had a very positive experience. The leadership is very experienced and highly in tune to the needs of the students. My child is thriving in both the STEAM and French immersion aspects and is well above grade level for reading and math. Close Quote

Open Quote Outstanding school. Small classes, well rounded curriculum with a strong emphasize on STEAM, managed by a highly skilled team. As a French speaking person, I was so thrilled to find such a gem. My kid loves her teachers and all the various activities and projects that are proposed. Because it's a charter school, it's free, yet because of the very engaged, small community feel and the quality of the teachings, it compares to high end private schools. Close Quote

Open Quote I am so impressed by the quality of the French that this school has. My child has been picking up so much. The coordinators work so hard and I love the teachers. Great community and great school! Close Quote

Open Quote I do not recommend this school. It is a new school with no resources, teachers are inexperienced, co-principals have no experience running a school and they are bleeding students and even teachers throughout the year. Close Quote

Open Quote Both my kids attend the school and despite the covid-19, they were able to receive in-person education for the last 2 years. It's a small school growing, adding around 20 students per year, and is managed by the 2 experienced teachers, who are still teaching and managing the school. Both my kids start speaking french and I'm looking forward to see their progress in the next couple of years Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
