As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Excellent school for middle school - truly prepares children for High School. Close Quote

Open Quote Communication is really hard in this school. In the 7th grade there are two teams that are really inconsistent. Team X and Y. Team X teachers give students huge amount of homework, tests and projects. They give out "F" so easily as a grade even for papers that were supposed to be signed by parents, not a real homework!. And then don't give out any grades for some other real homework that are done properly and should get an A+! Specially team X science teacher does this consistently, discouraging students badly. It seems that students in this team are a lot more evaluated than team Y. Which is really inconsistent with Team Y and unfair. This school doesn't have a clear guideline for the teacher to provide the kids the same learning opportunities. Team X students are so busy doing so much work, they have no more time to do any exatra curriculum activities. But, Teach Y students have really NOT MUCH to do on a daily basis!
My child is overloaded and under tremendous pressure and already doesn't like science anymore, because of the discouraging behaviors of the science teacher! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
