Open Quote This school was given many broken promises. My children didn't do STEM the entire time they were there because of the high teacher turnover(more than 6 teachers before christmas.) The car line was always an hour wait - although they kept promising it gets better, it never did. Unless you were one of those who parked an hour before dismissal. The principal does not value the parents of the students due to the very much lack of communication with what is going on. The nurse does not even call you until your child has been 3+ times in the same day. They treat this school as a prison. Taking recess from the whole class for lunch time behavior between a few students. There is NO library, NO gym, NO lockers. Kids peeing on themselves because they aren't allowed to go to the restroom outside a specific time. There wasn't even enough desks for the kids to start the year. The school is overcrowded and the carline definitely shows it. There was also some bullying but that is everywhere unfortunately.. although it didn't seem as the administration was doing anything to help fix it for those families. The principal is very MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY and extremely rude! We were promised smaller classrooms 15:1 , my child had 32 in her class!! and my other child 27!!! Do not fall for these empty promises and go to this school. You WILL be disappointed. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
