Middle Schools in Granite City CUSD 9

The two middle schools in the Granite City CUSD 9 district, Coolidge Junior High School and Grigsby Intermediate School, are both performing significantly below state averages on academic measures. Neither school stands out as a clear standout, as both struggle with low proficiency rates in English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science, as well as high chronic absenteeism rates.
