As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote We absolutely LOVE Cherry Park! My son has been a student there for the past three years. When we moved here it was a huge transition for us in a lot of ways. My son had been struggling with reading and some behavior challenges since Pre-K, and was on the brink of getting an IEP at the last school we were in. The teachers, staff, and incredible principal Kate Barker are so supportive, kind, patient, encouraging and my son has absolutely flourished! Special shoutouts go to the guidance counselor Ms Pelegri, the music teacher Mrs Wray, the librarian Ms Allen, Mrs O'Brien, Mr Spooner, and Mr Seger. He is reading, persevering, and absolutely LOVES school, as in, he can't wait for summer vacations to end. We hit the jackpot with Cherry Park and I'm immeasurably thankful! Close Quote

Open Quote So far it's been an awesome school for my 6 year old. I wish it was ranked better though. Most parents and teachers seem truly happy. I really enjoy the no home work rule. And if you need anything they are willing to do whatever it takes to help you. Mrs Barker is an awesome principal. I wish my sin could go there forever. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
