Open Quote I love it. I only wish that the school would continue educating until the 12th grade. And there are many parents who feel the same. Only great things about NCSA. Close Quote

Open Quote Not worth the time to apply. I thought it was an elite school vs the others ones....not at all. I thought it was an actual theme....it was not. Close Quote

Open Quote Worst school my child has ever attended. Don't waste your time applying to this school. The difference between this school curriculum and the other Newton schools is ZERO. They focus on getting parents to take off work and volunteer and my child didn't learn anything more. If your child needs help with work, they try to kick them back to their home school so the child won't effect their ratings. Close Quote

Open Quote Unnecessary race descrimination and lack of diversity from the new administration. Very unfortunate that the state could not employ a diverse group of leaders to supervise the students in this school. Today I witnessed rude and heartless front desk receptionists. Based on statements from others attending this school... there are many evidence of unfair treatments to non-whites...regardless, state administrators should start looking into these issues. Regardless, non-whites should continue to apply to this school to prevent future discrimination. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
